CV Joints

Just taken the gearbox out for other issues and thought I'd clean and re grease the CV joints as it's never going to be this easy to get at. Had the outer cv joint off and cleaned ready to refit but there's some nasty scores on the inner and outer joint. Gone this far with the truck so guess I should replace the lot, probably the complete inner cv as well. Not a issue to do it but can anyone advise which ones to go for?
Had a look at the Brickwerks and it's gonna work out pretty expensive, about £200 for all four, checked ebay and there is a huge saving to be made. Now I know ebay can save me a stack of cash but I don't want to change these bad boys again. Is there a good alternative out there or is it the Brickwerks way, there is some Meyle items around or veedubmachine.
Any advice would be great, thanks

The Lobro ones sold at GSF are excellent quality. Lot of chocolate ones on ebay (even via apparently established vendors on there) - it simply isn't worth it as its common for cheaper ones to give out in less than six months.

In fact, (just checked) GSF ones are expensive right now - £41.90 (Brickwerks £47.41) so try Euro Car Parts as they have an offer on at the moment. They stock the GKN Lobro joint kits at £29.94 - and thats including boot, bolts and grease - £119.74 for all 4. Best you'll get right now. Tempted to buy a set for future use....

Thanks for the info dude, have gone for Brickwerks items in the end. I decided to get the best parts I can as I'm rebuilding and I want the truck to be good for many years. Well that's the plan anyway!
Yes they weren't the cheapest but at least I know they won't fail.

Same parts brand but as long as you're fitting those you'll be fine.

Are the Lobro kits the same as Brickwerks sell?

Yep. Euro are a big national company though and buy in far greater quantity so can cut prices to the bone.

Bugger may have to change the order, that's £80 so think I will order them instead. Thanks for the info, spot on.
