Morning all
my other half received a new expansion tank cap this morning, we are getting a new tank as well. He is concerned it's faulty as he can blow feel through both ends and this suggests the cap won't hold pressure. Is this fault? Thanks I'm advance for any help.

Put the bit the pipe fits on in your mouth,if you can suck and blow through it then it is knacked.

Often called the 'Darlek' cap (fitted to later cooling systems), the quality of replacements varies considerably..given that this is a mission critical part it definitely is worth spending the extra few pounds to buy one of the better ones.
