LPG tank ground clearance

Folks,
Before I bug Steve at Gassure tomorrow, the bus has been lowered by 50mm.
Is this likely to cause me any ground clearance issues when fitting the 20 ltr under slung tank?
Cheers
Si

You certainly have to go easy over speed bumps.
Mine was lowered when I got the van, but I had it raised back to stock height as it was catching the odd bump.

That's my worry, the camper needs to be the 50mm lower she is to fit through the garage door

You should be ok, you just have to be aware of it when go over tall speed bumps and drive over them slower than you would normally to let the suspension finish bouncing before you reach the tank

Hi,
I any only out there with a camper and a LPG tank, who could on this fine summers evening sling a measuring stick under it and see what the clearance is .

Hi,
We have a 30L tank fitted, but I think the diameter is the same as a 20L. On standard suspension with full profile 15" wheels/tyres we have 9" of clearance. Not had any ground clearance problems even with some mildly adventurous off road driving in Spain and Morocco.
