Non T25 seats. Whats involved?

Hi. I'm finding it very difficult to find genuine VW T25 seats, in brown, in good enough condition and that aren't a silly price for what is after all the most basic seat going! So decided to look at other options. Found some very nice retro Huntmaster rally seats that recline and have lumbar support. Anyone fitted aftermarket seats and what trouble was encountered? I've heard some are an easy fit, while others can be a real pain?

Thanks in advance :)

Hi,

I have Galaxy/Sharan middle row seats as my fronts, they have adjustable armrests they fold forward flat in half and have moulded trays in the back.

A cracking seat but a fair bit of fabrication n welding needed.

Cheers

Si

I recommend renault seats as they are the most comfy seats ever.I fitted renault 19 RSI bucket seats(same as 16v but nicer)in my van.a little bit of cutting, welding and tapping and they're good to go.didnt take too long either.
