Hi
Fitted a new heater matrix as old one was leaking, is there a certain way to bleed the system or is it still the same way, reason I ask is under load hot air is coming out at idle its just slightly warm.
Cheers.

the matrix should self bleed if you followed the Baxter method of bleeding the system

Think I may have the same problem - do you mind me asking where you got the new matrix from and how much it set you back? (I've heard they're expensive)

i found brickwerks the cheapest (when they have it in stock). I had to get mine from heritage and pay a bit more.

Got mine from here
http://www.vehicleheaters.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Emailed them for a price and was emailed back with a number to call, there number is 01527 64126, price was £80 plus £8.50 carriage plus vat so roughly £107 in total. Was delivered day after ordering so cant fault the guys at all, cheapest price I could find anywhere as well so that was a bonus.

Thanks all for the options - they do seem pretty expensive for what they are but I guess that's just a rarity thing - prob not many places making a replacement matrix for a 30 year old van!!
