Can anyone recommend a supplier for G12+ coolant/antifreeze?

I've found one supplier who sells it for £8-32 for 1.5 litres, but that comes to almost £50 for a coolant change? Is that a reasonable price?

Living out in the sticks, I buy a lot of stuff on line, last coolant I bought was Comma xstream G40, which is G12++ and was about £24 for 5 litres from Amazon.

Me too - and it works out even cheaper if you buy it in 1ltr bottles of concentrate. It's more expensive if you just turn up at the counter, so buy it online then collect from their counter.

Thanks all for the links; I too live in the sticks so reasonable delivery is important to me. Looks like I'll be placing an order with Euro Car Parts.

The VW version is now G13.

I'm just on with replacing the coolant pump and thermostat( only got 3 sheared bolts ) been looking at antifreeze costs and the one from Euro looks good . Quick question , the concentrate , does 1 litre of concentrate make 2 litres of coolant ? Couldn't see anything on their site about dilution . Thanks
Now back to sorting the bolts

They do dilute and concentrate. The concentrate accordingly costs more - easy way to tell. Yes 1 litre makes two. Put antifreeze in neat first and top up with water, letting engine mix it. That way you can be sure you're at least at 50/50 mix.

Heck you don't have the same thermostat housing do you? Ca n be a pig. You can probably get broken bolts for pipes out with a stud extractor but thermostat housing needs a more delicate approach altogether plus copper grease on new bolts so they hopefully don't seize in the future.
