Insurance and alarms

Hi folks-have finally found my first van-hurray ( a boyhood dream realised-hopefully!)
I'm at the point of trying to organise insurance-it's our only car and will be in daily use between myself and my wife. Just wondered if anyone can recommend anywhere to go?
The other thing I'm wondering about is having an alarm/immobiliser fitted-I'm on a bit of a budget but again wondered if anyone has any experience of this or has something they would recommend.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Rob

There are a number of insurers that people most people get quotes from, including:
Glynwoods
Adrian Flux
2Gether Insurance
Just Kampers
Carole Nash
Some of them give discounts to club members - see the Membership and Discounts tabs at the top of the page.
Generally, any security measure you have fitted will help you in terms of insurance (and your piece of mind) and so should be considered a good thing.

Hi All. I'm new here too and hopefully about to take delivery of my first camper too!
Are there any particular brands of tracking devices anyone would recommend?
I've been told they're a good way of getting your van back, if stolen.
Any thoughts welcome.
Thanks

So you need to join the club to get discounts - see membership tag at the top of the page. It takes a few weeks as this is a free membership and the guys running the show have day jobs. As far as trackers go, put the word tracker in the search box above and you'll find the previous discussions.
