Rustoleum suppliers.

Chappy from avenue coatings called me yesterday and apologised profusively about not being able to scan my sample (piece of bodywork) and mix me some paint as they have technical problems at the moment and it could be a couple of weeks or so before it's remedied. Thus, anyone know of other reasonably priced suppliers? Many thanks, Mitch.

Try http://www.rustoleumdirect.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You'll need to ring them but last time I spoke to them they offered a discount to 80/90 members. Mention the video and you should get a discount.

Ta for that, just spoke to a few suppliers that I found on google. Prices varied loads, one company wanted £12 per tin just for delivery!!!

Stone me, even with mentioning the video, rustoleum direct were the ones I'd spoken to. Approx £42 per 2.5litre plus postage of £11 per tin, I want 2 x 2.5 litres which comes in at over£106 in total whereas the following
http://combicolor.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; quoted approx £73 including postage!!! I asked for that price to be checked and they assured me that was the price. And yes, I reminded them that I wanted a piece of panel (supplied by me) scanned for a colour match.

I'm sure you'll agree, that's a substantial difference. When my panel is returned by Avenue Coatings, I'll be placing the order ASAP.

Hope that helps others. Mitch.

Now then, spoke to a happy chap (rick Thompson) at combicolour.co.uk who have quoted me £74.37 for 2 x 2.5 litres of paint (mixed after scanning my sample piece of body - old arch), this includes delivery. Can't be bad. :ok
