Posted this quesion in the other day and had 1 reply. So there is only 1 other club member that has an eber??
Really strugglin fittin this damn thing. Doesnt fit snugly anywhere and anywhere i do find to plumb it and im obstructed under the van by summit. Gettin real hacked off cos i need it in. come on peoples. All i want is a couple of ideas. There must be somewhere i havent thought of

My Eber is fitted under the van, next to the sill, just ahead of the rear wheel arch on the offside. The vent into the van comes out at the bottom of the rear seat/rock n roll bed. It taps into the petrol pipe just ahead of the fuel filter. Well it did anyway 'cos mine is missing the pump! Mine is a factory fitted B2L petrol heater in my 1981 LHD Westy, but I'm still referring to the offside as if it was an RHD-ie. the right hand side of the van, looking at it from the back. Where it goes under the van there seems to be a lot of room and it only seems to pop down a little below the sill line.

Under my home-made buddy seat..

behind the dash,well behind the glove box area to be more accurate.
It's a dash out job though,but well worth it.Once holes are cut and it's in, it can be removed and refitted as often as you like,but you need the dash out to get a good line up on drilling the holes perfect.
Access to inlet/exhaust and fuel lines is just a case of whipping out one headlamp unit,easy!
Can all be done in half a day!
Recently fitted a 360 degree swivel vent on the lower middle panel in front of the gearstick area,means heat can be directed either straight through to the back area or can heat either footwell,or anywhere really.Eber runs hotter for much much longer as the heat source is further from the sensor-much better.
Looks factory too.
