T25 OIL CHANGE - Best place to buy

Hi all,

Sorry simple question but i couldn't seem to find a topic anywhere (Browsing the net at work)

I seem a little low on oil after a trip out on the weekend and I'm due to take the van out again this weekend and instead of just popping to Halfrauds and topping up i would like to do a quick oil change. I have recently bought the van and i have no idea when the last change was.. although the oil looks pretty clean.

My question is.. where is the best place i can buy the Oil/Filter/washer from that deliver (Pref next day)? Also any recommendation on what Oil to buy for my 1983 AC 2ltr T25? On a bit of a budget.

Cheers all. :D

Budget? GSF for filter, LIDL for your oil.

Lidl don't have this oil in stock all the time, however, its a regular 'special offer', I picked one up last weekend. Our branch had quite a few containers left so I expect if you pay your branch a visit they may well have some as well.
15W40 semi synthetic W5 I think they call it, anyhow, lots of us use it on here and at £10.99 its worth buying two to ensure you have a spare for next year. Its cheap and pretty decent stuff.

Change at 5K intervals or once a year, whichever comes first (as a minimum guide)

As you're an Aircooled I'd def change it more than once a year as it performs lots of jobs including keeping your engine cool :ok im sure Haynes says every 3000 miles or 6 months? someone correct me though I'm not near one at the mo :rollin
