Ok Folks, How about another "officially sanctioned" event added to the calender ?

May the 6th and7 th ?

Last year we had Coney in March, Wales in July and Coney2 in october...

Piccys and report here
http://www.club80-90syncro.co.uk/Syncro ... biggin.htm

Having visited and driven Biggin Quarry in october, I can recommend it as its tree free, but offer's plenty of Challenges......
Sue Foster, Secartary of the AWDC , North west, (the club which Jen and I, the Mercs and Big Blue Andy Freeze are members) says she'll try and sort a gang of "mod trialers " to pop across, and give us a demo

we can have the site for £100 per Day = £200, and a Tardis style unisex Toilet for £105 +vat, I also have the number for a burger van, who will turn up on the sunday F.O.C......

So that'll be around £320, if we go for the "loo".

The site is in the middle of the peak district national park, the most visited National park in the world after Mount Fuji !!!!

This is the weekend we moved the traditional "splashbourne" to, after clashing with vanfest the last 2 years.

At previous years Splashbournes we have had around 15 2wd camper come along.
The campsite is perfectly flat, as is the entrance.

There is a Pub 1/2 mile down the road, that does a wide range of food, including 5 vegatarian options

It also does BandB !!

So, say we get 10 syncros, and 10 2wd , thats

20 / £320 = £16 per van for 2 nites

last year we paid £14 per nite, the average cost of camping in derbyshire

So, can we have a show of hands please ? So i can book ?
The buxton land rover mob use this site, as do the AWDC, so It'd be good to get our name down !

your comments welcome ?

and me

any 2wd's thinking about it, the site is pretty compact so there's no fear of being abandoned while the syncro's have a play.

Thinking bout it, if you check out my videos of the Biggin event, the obstacles I filmed are well within veiwing distance of the camping area

Sounds like a good plan to me. Nice time of year too !

You need to talk to Tom/Jenny about any MSA/ Syncronaut Club costs that would need to be covered in the price of the ticket. Minimal, but might add a quid or so per van to your figures.

Or maybe £3.50 for MSA insurance costs.....

I'll be there, don't know in what, but I'll be there :)

So £20 per vehicle, like Coney Farm, would cover costs.
