Can anyone help me please?
Removed rectangular water inlet mounted on nearside front wheelarch ( opposite fuel filler)
After replacing all the rusted out front wheelarches and B posts , etc .would like to replace with a neater round filler that preferably locks
Inlet hose is 25 mm bore & all the ones I see advertised are for 40 mm hose
Has anybody else managed to find one that suits ?
Any leads greatly appreciated!
Thanks

All that I have ever seen is 38/40mm. 25mm is only 1" bore which is quite small - I should think that you are going to have to look for a reducer piece if your tank only has the 1" inlet. I have never seen a pour in inlet that small.
My Merc van is the same - the tank is 1" inlet but that is no problem as I can just connect a garden hose attachment for filling. If I am filling from streams or lakes when away from civilization I get a bucket full of water and use a water pump to pump it in.
