I refitted a 1.6td plumbers van .To do the roof lining i used lining hardboard from B&Q aprox 3-4mm thick.I measured the width with a steel tape by following the arc just behind where the cab lining is.The length was where the reinforcement for the roof is. From that i hardboard lined to the back of the van.It was a bit tricky to hold it in place to fix it with self tapper screws. How i did it was to use a small trolley jack with a length of timber that pushed up the hardboard into a arc.Once you have a few screws in it gets easier but work from the centre out to the sides of the van when you drill then screw. If you make an error in not getting a good fix to the side of the van .Cut a strip of hard board and pop rivet it to the hardboard roof lining each side then screw it back to the sides. When its all fixed use a wall carpet lining and glue it with good quality self adhesive.Ive got some picts of the finished interior .Not sure how to put them on here.

i made my roof lining for the front cab in my wedge, i used the old mouldy one for a template. but if your going to do this add a couple of cm around the edge. it makes it a bit easier to fit, still took about three hours though, and i had a problem where the sewing machine was not strong enough to go through the cardboard edges so i had to sew in some vinyl strips instead. its also a bugger to fit the headlining under the window seal, i gave up trying this in the end and added a wooden strip instead. goodluck its not easy, tell me how you get on
