I have a 1.9wbx '86 panel van,I'm fitting a webber run silent electric fuel pump 2.5-4.5psi with a glass bowl regulator in line. Also want to fit braided fuel lines and was wondering if 145psi would be suitable or should I go higher?

145PSI? What kind of fuel pressure did you think you had?

Braided matters less than how good the innards are with modern fuel additives. Just buy good quality hose - braided or not.
