It seems like there is always something. I have just tried to use the black under slung water tank. it has a small blue water pipe coming out of it into what looks like a pump and out of that into another pipe that goes up to my tap, when i switch it on i hear a warring but no water. Could it be that this system has an inline pump and that its knackered?

Any idea how to test it?

Have you got water in the tank ?

suck the outlet while the pump is running

I was going to say prime the pump .

Unless its waste water or diesel in there No forget that, you won't suck for long if it is.
