LDA diaphragm removal

Hope someone can help -I'm stuck. Trying to repair my jx LDA as the diaphragm has holes in it. New diaphragms are available from dieselkontor, but I cannot see how to get the old rubber off it's holder. Doesn't seem to screw apart. Looks like there is a pressed on cap holding the metal plate that covers the centre of the diaphragm. Do u just prise that of and then bash it on again when the new rubber is fitted?
Have emailed dieselkontor but no helpful reply this time. Guess they want me to spend more money on a new LDA...
