I was wondering if anyone had fitted 'Interparts' front outer CV joint kits. They appear to be a much cheaper alternative to VW - but I was wondering what the quality is like compared to VW?

cheers,
Rich

GKN do them and a good price too..
We could look at a group purchase....

Do those ones come with the "nylon" cv boot??

Whats this about 'nylon' boots?

Had a pig of an afternoon working out how to renew front bearings in the rain! :x

My front outer cv boots aren't split but are perished on creases.

Are these nylon ones the future?

OEM ones are/were HD nylon type that would shrug off sticks and stones...

Just trying to find out if the GKN ones are the HD tough ones or a standard rubber..

seen two different types recently, the white and the black, both nylon type rather than rubber type and both in vw boxes genuine part numbers and lobro numbers on them too.
