Oil being used

Since our trip up north (see previous threads reference oil blowing/pump leaking), I have managed to sort the pump, so now onto the oil issue.
I have tried just about everything to rule out and get down to the bitty gritty so to speak.
Drained oil and replenished 15/40 mineral.
Fitted new filters (oil and diesel).
Reset timing so many times am getting nightmares??
Removed injectors, had them cleaned then when returned stripped down to find grudge still deep inside which got cleaned (pic).
Compression tested, all seemed to be in the 450psi range, give a gnats whisker or two.
Fitted new PVC.
Initially all seemed fine, very little haze, more on throttle with some darker brownish smoke thrown in for good measure. Then after a short trip up the road, the blue haze just came back, especially when revved?
Where to next?
Could it be turbo (how to check that out?)
Could it be valves(how to check those out?)
