I have just bought some thermomats, have read the archive but cannot find out if the mats need to be reversed in winter, ie the shiny bits facing inward, has anybody tested this to see if the vehicle keeps warmer ??

No not tested it but I very much doubt you would see any difference in temperature.
Just turn the heating up a bit if you are cold

Tks, wot heating, will have to use an electric hookup campsite I suppose.

TBH I'm not convinced they make that much difference and they are a PITA to put up . Next time I'm camping in the cold I'm going to test the temperature on successive nights with and without.

Yeh, not convinced myself yet, but they do provide a more private environment, probably better in the summer to keep the heat out, tks for input.
