You can buy a new barrel from Brickwerks and I'm sure I read somewhere they will re-tumble it to suit your key if, you ask nicely.
There some info here to do,it yourself.......... http://www.hallvw.clara.net/lockpart.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

We can sometimes tumble a barrel to a code but its usually easier and quicker to just match it to the key. If they key is worn also at least you know they are matched together.

Hi,
I have used the guy at C & C for locks, quite helpful. If you have the code and a key I am sure he can sort it

Simon, I am using 3 keys on my van at the moment - ignition, exterior locks and engine hatch lock.

Is there a sensibly priced way to get them all matched up?

One of my door handles is iffy so it might make sense to buy new and make a matching set up at the same time.

Our van key used to open Lindsay's old SEAT and vice-versa. Why not get down to a scrapi and see if you can open some locks?

Thanks all. I had three keys then tumbled all the locks to fit one. Not that difficult. Cheers for the ideas, funnily enough I didn't think of Brickies for a lock but there you go- useful as ever.

We can match old locks to keys, usualy best to send your locks and ignition key, so long as they aren't fubared then strip, clean, retumble and send back.
