Auto darkening masks

Are these ok to keep in a box or will that run the battery out does anyone know? Thanks.

I have always wondered - mine doesn't get much use but it hangs from a hook by the roof window where it gets sunlight occasionally and seems OK. There was nothing with the guff when I bought it re storage.

I keep mine in a gloomy part of the garage, still seems to work ok after several years. TBH, I'd forgotten about it needing light. I've been more worried about it getting covered in dust and scratched. Couldn't weld without one now, brilliant kit. Bri

I keep mine in a crash helmet protection bag in the cupboard. If nothing else it stops it getting full of grinder dust!

mine auto shuts off after 30 mins..dunno about the solar type ones though..don't you have an on button ?

It's more the self discharge aspect of it for those of us that don't use them regularly.
