I have had some over heating problems with my van. Always happens when on the motorway. I have just read someone's post about overheating and the bleading sequence. In mentions explanation tank and header tank. One being behind the metal flap. I only have one tank and it is on the right where the battery usually is. Should I have 2 tanks? Is that my problem? My van was an air cooled but I had it converted to a azz 1:9 td.

Yes, should have 2 tanks, the pressurised tank vents into the 1 behind the flap when hot (due to the huge quantity of coolant in the system), and draws it back in again as it cools. Without the 2nd tank, there's nowt to draw back in, only air

it depends on the set up fitted to your van. Post a pic of the tank you have, the people who converted it may have used the coolant pipes and tank from the donor car, which would use one tank
