I have been given some alloy wheels and was wondering would they go on my 89 camper.
The wheels are imprinted with :-
VW
ET 38
6J*15H2
S3 1H0601025J
Have now idea what it all means and why would I fit them

The ET38 (offset will be OK) as will the width (6J is 6" wide) and diameter (15"), are they 5 stud with 112mm PCD? What size is the centre bore hole? Needs to be at least 64mm to clear the front hub grease-caps.
You may need some wheel spacers to fit between the hobs and rims to get the required clearance away from the suspension, also probably need a extended set of studs for the rear hubs, and a long stud conversion for the fronts. Bank on £100 for spacers, studs and new nuts (make sure you get the correct nuts, there are taper seat and radius seat (where the nut contacts the alloy wheel, you can see if has a taper or a "ball" type radius)

There is guy on flea bay who will send you some longers bolts1.49 each (Audi) for the front or even a bolt to stud conversion

Fireturk posts on here, look in for sale section. Top notch bolts/studs and nuts conversions, and spacers if you need `em. Recommended guy, good prices, and a member

Also does lowering spring and shock kits.

They won't fit, the code starting '1H' denotes Mk3 Golf/Vento. Both 4 and 5 stud Mk3's had a 100mm PCD.
