Evening all. Anyone got any tips for inserting new retaining clips into the 5 square holes in the body work?
These are the little fellas I am referring to:

Typically, all the rusty broken old ones just popped out! But short of upsetting the neighbours with a tirade of expletives, I gave up this evening! :x

i have a pair of pliers with a notch cut in to clear the sticky out bits on the clip, no picky at this hour but they then drop straight in,

Really fiddly and tried all sorts. I suppose a pair of old fashioned pincers might do the job too

dunno, you need to grip fully along top and bottom and the notch allows this, you can try and others may have other methods

Pincers didnt work, however, worked out how to get them in..
The top little sticky out clip neads to be put in place behind the panel "bracket" then I found that I could squeeze the bottom clip into place by alternately clamping with some narrow nosed pliers each side of the clip until it popped in - tricky little beggars. To MM, I guess your notched pliers would have the same effect so thanks for the comments as it gave me the idea.
Anyway upshot is, grille all back in with no rattles now, nice and secure.
