Evening
Haynes states 315nm for 3 groove type! Is this a misprint?!

My torque wrench only goes to 210nm and not got a few hundred quid spare at the minute for a larger one. I'm Currently only using 1 groove. Can I set it to 60nm as per single groove in the Haynes?
Thanks

I have the same situation.. and tightened it as much as I could with a breaker bar not a torque wrench
no issues in seven years

Thanks. I had to use a metre 1/2" breaker bar on my back with both hands and my feet on the chassis! It was a right battle! So I guess I'll do the same in reverse and hope it's as good as yours pal

Kev is right. After all, if you ever have to remove nut you can normally shift it with a spanner/adjustable and a short sharp shock to the other end, so it needs to be done up tight but not so tight you need to get the neighbours in. I did mine up the same way, tight as I could by hand then a quick whack with the hammer to wind it on a tadge more.
