which workshop manual?

Just dug my manual out of storage to do a bit of work, to find its Haynes 638 (for air-cooled up to 1982) and mine's a diesel '85. I see Haynes do a manual for 1982 up to H reg but petrol. What manuals does everyone use? Cos if you want something like a diesel wiring diagram........

Somebody asked about a diesel manual before & I checked the Haynes website with no luck.
