Is there a similar upgrade for the indicators

So after travelling in bright sun I am convinced I need to brighten up my indicators.

How can I get them brighter? Does the wiring need replacing? is there a better bulb to use?

I fitted these to my 1986 van http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-P21W-50W-C ... 3f3a050ef8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
They're really bright, but you also have to change the flasher unit for an LED compatible one or they will flash too quickly.
I think mine is similar to this one, but check the pin-out and fitting. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LED-FLASHER-F ... 5d2f4c7b2f" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

They're not cheap but they are safer as they switch faster and are therefore visible for longer and of course they look cool too. They should last for ever so fit and forget.
I also replaced all my rear lights with similar bulbs.
