Space saving

Space is always at a premium in a T25 van, so what are your favourite space saving items?
My 2 favourites are 1) Microfibre towel and 2) tin opener / bottle opener gizmo
The folded and rolled towel stuffs down smaller than a tin of beams and fits in my wash kit bag. It does the job drying me off, which was a bit of a surprise to be honest.
Also, Pack away rain coat and waterproof trousers (Regatta)

After many years camping and fitting everything we needed into a VW Golf with a roofbox we have found that we have spare space, there is too much storage!! I guess over the years we will find extra things to fill the cupboards and warddrobe.
We too still use Microfibre towels because they are easy to wash out and very quick drying, our favorite accessory is our double airbed that converts into a sofa for in the awning when we go away for longer periods

I used to have one of them tin openers that my mate in the military gave me,gutted when I lost it

Less than a couple of quid for a pair in most camping shops.
Very looseable. That's probably why they are sold in twos.
I used to carry mine in my pocket, but it tended to chew holes in the pocket (and my leg!)
Now it's in with the cutlery.

it was not the cost that pissed me off just that my mate had it through his service and I go and loose the damm thing,he also gave me a Becks bottle opener that they gave away with slabs of beer when he was posted in germany,not worth anything but one of my treasured possessions,strange what little things we get attached to
