Caravelle sliding door window overhaul parts.

Does anyone know a ready source of the seals for a factory fitted opening door window as found on later velles? in particular the brush strips as I wish to get the ally frame powder coated black and re build to allow a draught free and smooth sliding operation.

Somebody must...all obselete at vw and nowt at classic...

Don't know the profile as have never had mine out
but are any of the flock ones on Sealsdirect any use?

got a couple of off cuts of new ones from when I refurbished Edna's windows 7 years ago when all the parts were still available bar the external top corner rubber but I'm not sure if the two offcuts even make one vertical, I've a spare bottom runner too I think they are nla
what about asking the place in Northants that can make Leisure Windows they must use something, maybe compatible with our frames

Ok...seems the stuff is available and known as " the hairy worm" ! Gonna get a sample pack..
