wbx 1.9 starting probs

just put a late 1.9 wbx from a 1990 to a 1984.
wiring seems the same except for water temp senders
am pretty sure i have all wiring back right.
but I'm not getting a spark.
any one got any suggestions or a picture of wiring in a 1.9 wbx

Have you checked you have 12v on the coil and ignition amp and checked the earths are good?
is it the same dizzy of has that been changed also?
as you say wiring is same colours just some small connector differences and the extra oil switch
how do you know you have no sparks?

didn't unplug any wiring,both were running ok before
a mate said to wriggle the connection at the module on side of engine bay,
will try tomorrow,
checked for spark by putting plug in lead layin on engine and turning over.

No sure how its possible to swap an engine without unplugging any wiring

i meant i unplugged wiring from engine but none of the connections to coil and module.
found today that it is putting power to distributor by volt meter
didn't disturb distributor when swopping engine.
will i disturb timing if i swop distributor from other motor?
