Hey guys I've been and bought a set of 15mm hub centric spacers for the tea of my 1990 transporter - however they don't fit. I've arranged to have someone bore them for me - probably needs 1-2mm taking out.

Just wondered if anyone knew how much roughly needs taking off the outside to fit within the wheels? I'm running Audi a4 wheels but already at work so can't check Lols.

Any help would be great - thanks v muchly.

I'm in the middle of adapting some Audi S2 wheels and have had the centre holes bored out to 63.5mm to clear the grease cap on the front hubs. That was easier said than done, but I eventually managed to find a machine shop with a milling machine big enough to take the wheel. (He just happened to have a 63.5mm end mill so used that).
Machine shops are fast becoming a thing of the past it would seem.
We used to have an aircraft factory here in Byfleet (Vickers...BAC...where the VC10 and Concorde was made) and off the back of that were dozens of light engineering companies all doing little job lots for the big one.
They've all but gone, now. I fear the worst for the future now that we appear to not produce anything anymore.
