Just bought a '81 t25 which is great. No compression on one cylinder so looking for someone to fit a new valve, garage or mobile mechanic, any ideas?

Might be worth giving Avon Carriage Company a call as they maybe able to help or advise. Chap there hires out a couple of T25's & the old man uses them to service his '73 Bay:

New forest is a small place, does it drive?
you could then ask for garage recommendations in Dorset or Hampshire which should hopefully get more response?

Apologies, I should have said, can only just limp about, backfiring etc as we go.

Mobile mechanic would be perfect, your right, small place the forest

thanks though, Avon just abit to far away

Dont rule out getting it trailored to a garage thats got a good record rather than risking an unknown, may not cost anymore in the long run
