As standard it looks like there should be 1 belt that runs from the crank pulley to the waterpump, than another that runs from the waterpump to the alternator. Mine has just 1 that is fitted so it goes around both at once, and I see lots of JX's with the same arrangement. My question is can this cause problems, as the waterpump & alternator run at a lower speed when the single belt configuration is used, due to the step down instead of step up ratio of the pulleys?

ive only ever had one belt on my van for 7 years now(thats how i brought it).never had any issues that ive noticed with either the jx or AAZ now fitted.
