Hi Guys,
My zafira a has just developed a nasty bout of rough idle and no power!

I know there are zafira/vauxhall forums out there, but who wants to be a member of that?!

Just wondering if anyone on here has any ideas what the issue may be.

I have the engine management light on and the cooling system electronics warning lights on. Temp is normal and all fluids are present and correct.

All help/ideas gratefully received (and general abuse for owning a zafira)

That is the homing signal from the scrapyard, in a couple of days you will go outside and find that it has gone to eternal rest!

I had a similar problem on a vectra, turned out one of the vacum hoses to the actuator had come off and there were a couple if others wearing through on various parts of the engine. Hope yours is as easy.

Suspected cam sensor issue... To the garage!

If its a newish one there's a temp sensor on the rad for the ecu along with one on the block, they made the loom to the rad sensor too short resulting in a broken we.
You won't really know until it's hooked up to the diagnostics and had a look at the live data and fault codes.

All sorted

Cam or crank shaft sensor.

As good as new!
