started to jump out of fifth gear all other gears fine any ideas please

Mine doesn't do this but I only have four gears!

Let us know what van you have and age. Someone might be able to help then....

either a linkage issue or a gearbox issue, you can check and inspect adjust and refurbish the linkage...
oil change of the box will show you the drain plug magnet, big build up of fines with a sludgy stem likely mainshaft bearing is worn, 5th gear moving away from selector fork, worn synchro slider and gear the more it does it

thanks for the replies but after having a good look the front gearbox mount was badly worn the rubber coming away from the metal when I decreased speed then increased it there was a clunk and the gear jumped out going to replace it with powerflex bush and see if that does the trick
