Hi

I am looking to replace the carriage bolts on my 89 westy pop top roof. Was thinking about stainless steel or chrome? The original ones are showing signs of corrosion/oxidation and some light dampness is affecting the flock.

Has anybody done this before and knows of a link to get the correct bolts and washers.

Do you mean the white pan head screws? If so you can get them new for a pound each. Brickwerks among others sell them. I don't think stainless would look that nice personally.
