I am pretty sure it won't. Those type of gauges normally work off the pulses from an ignition coil. It does say "
Suitable For: All car models" though

Mind you, it also says "
Power: Professional 12V, IGN MAX 0.3A"
iirc T25 Deisel rev counters take their feed from a connection on the back of the alternator, not not being a Diesel expert I don't know what that feed carries. Maybe it simulates ignition coil pulses? (maybe I should not be trying to answer this one

)

As ghost says no.
Diesels use a phase tap off the alternator it is still a pulsed signal but its waveform rises and falls unlike the on/of pulse from a coil.

I've read that modern rev counters take their signal from the vehicle's ECU.
I was looking on ebay and one of the sellers would not guarantee their gauges would work off a direct connection to a coil - they didn't say it wouldn't, just that they wouldn't guarantee it would.
Hope that's muddied the waters
