Morning all,

Got myself a courtesy light from a mk3 Golf to replace the broken westy one I have.

I seem to remember seeing some info on how this is wired up with a link to the ignition to tell light to go off when you start. On searching a link to vanagonwiki has been posted but links to a chinese looking site

Can someone help out with the wiring, so far I have
Brown on light fitting = vehicle earth
Brown white on light fitting = switched earth to door piller switch
Red/Black on fitting = to Red vehicle permanent live
Black/Red = Not sure where

Can someone please fill in the blank

Black/red is ignition switched to cancel the light delay when you switch the ignition on.

Can get on with wiring up now
