Squeak from rear

Got this squeak from the rear end, it is rotational if you know what I mean, it seems to come from the rotation of a wheel. If you rock the van from the outside the suspension squeaks/creaks, and it sounds similar to that but decreases an increases with speed, touching the brakes makes no differance so think it rules sticking shoes out.

Any ideas?

Have you checked the CVs. May be a bit dry

No not checked them yet, not sure what to look for, is it something you have done?, what are they lubricated with, Grease?

Suspect it may well be the CV's as it certianly isn't brake releated, and the creaking when rocking the van could also be the CV's I suppose.

I have done it dozens of times. No problems. Yes ,you do use grease, but a CV joint grease. You can get it from most accessory shops. It comes in a little plastic sachet. Remove the clip from the larger end of CV gently pull back the boot ,remove most of the old grease with a clean rag, refill with new. if the clips that hold the boot on are non reusable, I generally use plastic ties. If you find that a boot has a split or hole it must be replaced, this may be the reason for the problem..

Sounds fairly simple... Wouldn't have thought it could be a split boot, as it passed MOT three weeks ago, and think they are part of the MOT. from what I have found its a Moly based grease...
