Is there any way of doing this or is it just too much juice required to do it? (Not on hook up)
Thanks

No problem. Lots of AA chargers come with 12v cords these days (look on ebay). I regularly charge 3.5v lithium batteries when I'm parked. Not had any issues.

I go out all week filming, charging video camera batteries and so forth and I only buy chargers that will run on 240v as well as 12v. Makes sense.

Hi thanks for info :-) are they something you can leave charging overnight while your asleep off the normal battery ? Or will this flatten it ?
Thanks

At well under 1 amp draw you won't have any issues leaving the charger plugged in over night.
