An MOT test is an MOT test. Even allowing for the fact some are more pedantic than others, in the end you'd do well to just put it through the test and get the work done. You're legal for a year then, hopefully.
For the first two years I took my camper to a notoriously tough tester to help me pinpoint any major problems. I use another garage now (more convenient) and it has passed for the last four years but I'm now ahead of him on anything that may deteriorate between each test. With something that may be an unknown, its better to let the tester take the lead, even if it gives you a load of work to start with.

I would just use a garage you trust, easier said than done I know but the one I use have no real previous knowledge of T25s but everyone at the place loves my van so all take an interest in it. Had a couple of issues that they've resolved, they even enjoyed doing it. Your van should pass or not wherever you take it. Good luck!

As long as "they" know about the allowable lateral play in the rear wheel bearings

Thanks guys !
A couple of mot centres have turned me away , saying my van is to heavy and too tall to safely work on . Anyone else come across this ? She is a westy high top tho .
