Front brakes sticking :(

Hey peeps,

We went on our first outing in our newly restored bus and of course I forgot to do the brakes so we had stuck drivers side brake smoking its head off and the passenger starting to stick, and had to be recovered home.

So my question is, as we managed to free it off and get movement back into it, can I just replace the seals or do I have to replace the seals and the piston?

Before anyone says it, we don't have the dose to buy 'new' callipers, so I'll do it myself :run

It depends on the condition of the pistons.

Take a look at Bigg Red, they should have everything you need

If the pistons are corroded or pitted there is a chance that the pistons are sticking /catching on the seals but until a strip down you won't know. But if your going to the hassle of stripping the calipers to do the seals you may as well do the pistons if funds allow.
