Brake warning light on permanently

As above . Just had from hubs stripped down to replace the front wheel bearings. I stripped the front calipers down and had to make 2 new pipes between the calipers and the flexis. I've bled the brakes, just been for a run and the the brakes are a bit spongey , need bleeding again, but the red light on the dash is on permanently.
I've checked the level in the reservoir and its bang on. The flexis were clamped off while I did the work .
Can't see any drips of brake fluid on or around the calipers or in the floor.
Any ideas ?
Thsnks :ok

handbrake switch fault
handbrake not completely off
or the plug is not connected properly
