sliding door

The lower guide that the sliding door runs in is very rotten on my van! i need to get it replaced whilst she is in the bodyshop.
i understand i need the sliding door guide which i can hopefully get from jk but do i also need a rubber seal for the guide?
mine is in such a bad way i cant tell how it should have looked.
any help would be appreciated...

Bex,,,,,I think you'll be lucky to get any sort of sliding door track panels from anywhere, then again I may be wrong. I recall having a similar problem with the first van we owned, I simply had a new base plate fabricated and then welded in place.
As far as the rubber goes , best bet would be to find a van as late a model as possible to see what they should look like and how they fit.

Alan Schofield sells the inner sill and the runner that you need. The hard part is finding someone up for welding it!
I've just got mine done!
It took me a while to find someone but I eventually found a welder in Dorset who was up for it! He cut out the inner sill from another van and repaired the runner!! £130!!! Amazing value, especially considering the state of it all (it was really bad!!)
oh I just remember JK have started selling the parts aswell!
