A quick prod between
http://www.yokohamatire.com/tires_101/c ... eel_width/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - tyre/rim fitment guide
and
http://www.etyres.co.uk/tyre-size-calculator" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - tyre radius comparison
combined with Camskill for what's available, shows...
For the front, 215/50 17 would be closest to overall diameter, but they're all inadequate load rated.
225/55 17 is ~4.5% bigger diameter, but about the only properly load rated option.

There's the odd 215/55, slightly closer in diameter, but either borderline load or just plain rubbish.

For the rear, 255/55 is about 9% bigger.

Not a heck of a lot of choice, really.
Whether they _fit_, especially if you've lowered it, is another question. Are the wheels man enough for the weight?

Or...
Front:
225/50/17's are just 0.77%(5mm) larger than 185/80/14's and are 98(750kgs) load rated.
Rear:
245/45/17's are the same diameter as 185/80/14's and are 99(775kgs) load rated.
255/45/17's are just 1.38%(9mm) larger than 185/80/14's and are 98(750kgs) load rated.
245/50/17's are 3.83%(25mm) larger than 185/80/14's and are 99(775kgs) load rated.
All the above load ratings are perfectly ok to use on any T25 including the Karmann Coachbuilts.
As mentioned though...are the wheels load rated for the weight of the Karmann?
They need to be at least 650kgs each...ideally 700kgs+
But if you're actually in Brazil,as your username suggests,I doubt load ratings will matter?

Cheers for that Paul...it may be a good idea for him to fill in his location then to save any future confusion?
But then again that could be too much trouble as he was logged onto the forum earlier and read these replies but thought it's not worth replying to them....
