My drivers window is loose, it falls back a bit when down and so sometimes jambs when I wind it up unless I push it forward.

Not been in there yet but I need to soon as it's anoying.

Looing at Vagcat it looks like the lift channel is held with two bolts to the regulator,

any ideas whats wrong? bolt missing perhaps?

cheers in advance for any tips :ok

I'm not an expert on T25's but perhaps my experience will help. Same happened to me and it turned out to be loose bolts that hold the widow reg in place. Winding the window up caused the bit of leverage that put the window in the right place, a bit of vibration from driving made it drop back. (hope you can understand that). Of course it could be something else, including wear in the wheelbox as MM says. If you need a replacement regulator I think I have one. Just need to have a good look and see which side it's for.

I had this on a different car before, and all it was, was one of the bolts from the lifting bit to the rail the window sits on had come loose which allowed the window to drop back down.

I think it was on a mini...

ok so there was a bolt missing from the door and some sort of guide on the side also, I improvised with some nylon washers and a cable tie :D

on a slightly different topic also lucky not to loose my sliding door handle, the screw was a good 5mm loose,if your handle is loose get the trim off and tighten it :ok
