Me again with another cooling system question.

I need to replace my coolant temperature sensor and I have checked the existing one, it is a blue head.

All of the ones listed at brickwerks for my engine are either:

Black
Black/green

Any ideas what the difference is and which one I should get?

scratch that, I have just realised that the coolant temp sensor is black and at the rear of the thermostat when you are looking towards the front of the van.

However, what is the blue one?

Blue one is the thermoswitch for the carb and manufold heater realay
they can be fitted in either position and so could have been swaped over the years

Glad I checked the thermostat housing again before trying to buy a blue sensor!
