hi, just bought some audi sppedline sl1124's. 7J X 16 H2 ET 45 , TYRES 205/55/16. They have been bored out to fit t25, tried front ones with a 15mm spacer ( this was already on previous wheels) they seem ok.
there are no spacers on back at all, i presume I will need longer studs and at least 15-20mm spacer .
other thing is how do you get around of problem with fitting centre caps when you have the speedo cable clip in the way? ( these are old wheels )

this is back of new centr caps

Fit the proper domed grease caps - the idea of boring out the wheel centres is to clear the grease caps - and the speedo cable clips to the LH cap with a small R-clip through the square hole in the centre.

Fitting the proper grease caps also has the added benefit of keeping all the grease in the bearings where it should be, prolonging their life, and not spraying about all over the inside of your wheel!

The near side original grease cap has a square hole to thread the end of speedo cable through so I would say yes, Brickwerks sell them too...

Other parts suppliers are available....I do not work for Simon honest

Is that first picture how its currently set up? If so that little bracket mod will work to ensure the speedo cable will rotate. You could do with piling a load of grease onto your bearings and covering them with a nodder for now until you get your grease caps.

Those are originals, clip does work but can't get wheel centres on , bearings were greased not long ago

' nodded', I wonder how few of us actually know what that means? The old 'uns are the best.

You could fabricate a new bracket that does fit with the centre cap on or if your no too fussy drill a small hole in the middle of your centre cap and file it square (Think it's 5mm). Then thread the end of your speedo cable through and fit circlip. It works as I've done it before. Its not one for the purists.

I meant 'nodder', but perhaps you're right Paul, the verb would be nodding!
