Hello,

I'm new to the forum and thought I'd introduce myself! I'd also like to ask for some help/advice.2 weeks ago I purchased my first ever T25 which is also my first ever camper and my first step into this new world! Its a great van and I am already in love with it however internally it was poorly done, (a computer desk and bunjee chords housed the cooker!) So I've stripped it out. The problem is its a twin slider and I was wondering of any of you out there have one? And if so how have you laid it out?

I have googled etc but are if there are any clever designs I could use for inspiration I'd be greatful!

I'm not sure how to post a picture but I shall attempt it!

clean enough to me, nice velle had you thought about leaving one of the sliders permanently shut, not as daft as it sounds but as a camper its barmy to loose space with the door hole,others will be along to give their input no doubt

I have a hi top, so i have plenty of storage space up above.

You know I didn't think of that! one of the doors is a bit "dodgey" doesn't always like to shut properly so that's not a bad idea at all!

Thank you! I really like this, I hadn't thought about splitting the areas up, I was planning on a full unit behind the driver & passenger seat but I like this design a lot more! Thank you

I saw a twin slider once with all the units laid out in the conventional manner (behind driver) but with the added advantage that any cooker/fridge maintenance needed then the door could be opened for full access.

Best of both worlds!

I like the idea, I could also open the door whilst cooking to extract the smell etc! Maybe leave a small half meter gap as to still use the door? I'll have to start tapeing up various plans to the floor!

Remember though If you have a proper fridge this will need to be vented out of the van correctly, so either the flue will need to pass through the door which will mean you can't simply open the door 'willy nilly' as you'll rip the flue out or you will need to route the pipe somewhere else (door pillar maybe or through roof like some old split/bay westies did).

I wasn't planning on running my fridge of gas just the 240v does this still need to be vented? Thanks for your help!

No, why not run on gas out of interest it opens up a whole more scope to using your van if you're not relying on hook up's all the time.

I don't really have a reason not to run on gas I guess I have always assumed that I plan to stick to sites, but you are completely right. I suppose if I did set it up to run on gas then on the occasions I went "into the wild" it would be far more practical!

I am in the process of doing a refit on my twin slider.
I have a unit behind each seat on with the sink in , water container under the sink that can be taken out via the off side slider.
The rear cupboards is basically holdsworth cupboards in front is the unit with the cooker below is the fridge that can be opened inside or outside for beers. Door facing forward
The fridge vents go into the siding door, they connect as the door closes as it shuts it compresses the seals.
It has a 3/4 r&r bed.
Should be finished soon, just carpet and a bit of trim and the prop ex.
