I'm going to be removing the calipers soon and wondering if using hose clamps on the flexi pipes ( not ss braided items) is ok. Never used them but not wanting to drain all the fluid to make it easier on re assembly when I will bleed the whole system.

Ive used molegrips for this for years, cover the rubber with an old rag so you dont damage it and dont go mad with the pressure, you only need to gently compress not squash flat ! start gently and increase the pressure if required.

I use either the tool or mole grips and only compress the pipe just enough to stop it dripping. If you're changing fluid ok bleed away but if not you only need to bleed fronts.
